(Harrisburg, PA) State Senator Doug Mastriano will speak on our nation’s enduring founding principles at the 2026 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference which will be held April 9-11, 2026 at the Penn Harris Convention Center in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.

The featured dinner speaker will be Newsmax founder/CEO Chris Ruddy. Washington Examiner columnist and Fox News contributor Joe Concha will be the luncheon speaker. Speakers include Slippery Rock Mayor Jondavid “JD” Longo; State Treasurer and Republican gubernatorial candidate Stacy Garrity, U.S. Representative Scott Perry, Cliff Maloney of the Citizens Alliance, U.S. Senator David McCormick, Pennsylvania Attorney General David Sunday, Commonwealth Foundation President & CEO Andrew Lewis, and Pennsylvania Chamber of Business & Industry President & CEO Luke Bernstein. Doug Mastriano, Pennsylvania State Senator, represents the 33rd District, serving Adams and Franklin counties. A retired U.S. Army Colonel, he completed more than 30 years of active-duty service, beginning with the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment in West Germany along the Iron Curtain. Doug deployed during Operation Desert Storm in 1991, later served as a lead planner for the post-9/11 invasion of Iraq via Turkey, and from 2006 to 2009 deployed three times to Afghanistan as Director of NATO’s Joint Intelligence Center.

Doug concluded his military career as a Professor of Strategic Studies at the U.S. Army War College. He holds a Ph.D. in History and four master’s degrees in strategic and military studies and is the author of several works on American military history. With extensive scholarly knowledge of the American founding and Revolutionary era, he brings a historian’s perspective to discussions surrounding America 250 and the enduring principles that shaped the nation.
