Just Another Day at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner

At the April 25  White House Correspondents’ Dinner, a “No Kings” Democrat made the third (known) attempt to assassinate President Donald Trump. Members of his cabinet were also targeted.

The shooter, now in custody, wrote a “manifesto” which, although available online, will receive no oxygen here.

Fair readers will notice two things: the utter banality of the shooter’s attempts to justify his actions, and that his words mimic the outrageous, incendiary, but commonplace accusations Democrats, media and Facebook addicts hurl daily at Mr. Trump, his cabinet and his voters.

The inflammatory rhetoric of elected and subordinate Democrats, allied liberals online and in media clearly radicalized and inspired another young man to attempt murder.

The radical left – including the ghouls who celebrated conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s assassination (by a Democrat), attempted to murder personnel at three Texas Immigration and Customs Enforcement locations, tolerated a transgender activist killing Catholic children in Minneapolis, defended a leftist’s daylight murder of a healthcare CEO, Antifa/BLM rioters/arsonists/looters, and anti-Semites who consider Jews genocidal Zionists with no right to exist – is no longer a fringe.

Radicals have become the Democrat Party’s mainstream.

As president, Joe Biden said, “Donald Trump is a genuine threat to this nation. He’s a threat to our freedom. He’s a threat to our democracy. He’s literally a threat to everything America stands for.”

And, in 2024, before Democrat grandees ditched Joe, Biden said, “It’s time to put Trump in the bulls eye.”

At a press conference days before the shooting, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) displayed “Maximum Warfare. Everywhere, All The Time” superimposed on the president’s image.

Referring to Mr. Trump/his administration, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said “lying is their trademark.”

Last year, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) called President Trump a “vile creature,” the “worst thing on Earth.”

Democrat California gubernatorial candidate Katie Porter’s campaign vomited a fundraising email, reading, “We KNOW what Trump is willing to do and how far he’s willing to go – he’s willing to kill people in the streets, to rip health care away, to ruthlessly attack our democracy.”

The shooter’s manifesto cited his congressman, Ted Lieu (D-CA), who, without evidence, repeatedly accuses Mr. Trump of being a pedophile, a child-rapist.

Senator Alex Padilla (D-CA) claimed people are literally “DYING!” because of the “fear and terror caused by the Trump administration.”

Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) accused President Trump of turning the country into a “fascist state!”

Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA) said the president is using a “dictator playbook.”

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker said, “Never before in my life have I called for mass protest disruptions. These Republicans cannot know a moment of peace!”

In Europe, a week before the dinner, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz called Mr. Trump a “fascist.” At home, he called ICE officers “Gestapo.”

Representative LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) said, “[we will] not take this sh*t from Donald Trump. He thinks he’s a DICTATOR. We are at WAR!”

Representative Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) threatened, “We’ll see you in the streets.”

That’s just a sampling of prominent Democrats’ wild statements, every one far outside any reasonable boundaries of political speech. Nonetheless, they are echoed, often amplified by talking heads at CNN and MS NOW, and hacks at the New York Times and Washington Post, among other, even less-restrained outlets like Vox and the Huffington Post.

Those Democrats, media and online influencers may be too squeamish to commit physical violence, but they encourage it.

Their incendiary speech encourages the gullible to believe that committing murder is public service.

When mentally unstable people are repeatedly told – and convinced – that one man/one party are evil, inevitably, some will attempt to become “heroes.”

Introspection is long overdue. Democrats/liberal allies must acknowledge that their inflammatory rhetoric is the primary cause of the assassinations, assassination attempts, and the general political violence plaguing America.

They won’t, though…

Hours after the shooter’s manifesto was made public, former President Barack Obama shamelessly posted a tacit denial, “Although we don’t yet have the details about the motives behind last night’s shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner…”

The lasting image of the third assassination attempt will be the photo of the perpetrator, shackled, lying naked face down on the carpet. At 31-years-young, he’ll spend life in federal prison.

How many more susceptible losers will soulless, Trump-deranged Democrats and media manipulate into joining him – or dying?
