UPDATE: PA LOSING THOUSANDS OF DOCTORS

PAPA's donation thermometer thinks all our doctors moved to a warmer climate.
it looks like there are THREE doctors left in Pennsylvania!

Last week, PAPA issued a rare appeal asking our members to contribute to our massive Maternity Care Campaign. The Campaign is part of our Victims Project -- a strategy to bring forward patients and physicians who have become victims of Pennsylvania's Medical Liability Lawsuit Abuse Crisis.

Only three doctors stepped forward with contributions.

PLEASE STEP FORWARD AND DO YOUR PART TODAY! PAPA needs 100 physicians to pledge $1,000 to make tort reform a reality.

Your contribution will be used to continue our work in shining light on Pennsylvania's loss of maternity care. Specifically, the money you send will be used to:

Purchase media advertising
Continue our investigation to find victims who have been harmed by erosion of care
Direct mail and electronic communications
Enable us to continue to educate elected officials

A Tale of Two States: Texas votes for Tort Reform; Pennsylvania Votes for Disaster

P.A.P.A. has recently published a comparison of "Tort Reform Texas" and "Personal Injury Pennsylvania" in the Advance for Managers of Respiratory Care.

Against all odds, activists similar to P.A.P.A. pushed through legislation that brought sweeping medical liability tort reforms to the Lone Star State.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Pennsylvanians continued to reelect politicians owned and operated by the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.

But there is still hope. If Texas can enact tort reforms, Pennsylvania can too.

A very real opportunity for victory is NOW!

For the past six years, PAPA has been the voice for medical liability tort reform education.

And now, our work has reached a critical crossroads.

There is a very real opportunity for tort reform because of Philadelphia's maternity care crisis: all Northeast Philadelphia maternity units are out of business.

Mothers and babies are in grave danger.
We need to continue to identify those harmed by this crisis so our elected officials have no choice but to protect moms and babies. And the only way to do that is to enact tort reform. We need your help to get the word out through media advertising, direct mail, electronic communications, and town hall meetings.

PAPA is asking for 100 doctors to donate $1,000 or more TAX DEDUCTIBLE dollars.
Please do your part and send a contribution today to: P.A.P.A.
