PA Leadership Conference Panels Announced

The Pennsylvania Leadership Council has announced panel topics and moderators for the upcoming 2008 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference to be held April 25th and 26th at the Four Points Sheraton near Harrisburg.
This year's panels will be:

• The Future of Reform moderated by Al Bienstock, author of Right Wing Limericks. This will be he keynote panel and panelists will include those who served as moderators at the 2007 conference.

• Unalienable Rights moderated by Michael Geer of the Pennsylvania Family Institute focusing on such vital rights as the right to life, the right to keep and bear arms, the right to educational freedom, etc.

• Free Market Solutions to Liberal Ideas moderated by Matthew Brouillette of the Commonwealth Foundation. Key state level issues such as transportation and health care will be discussed.

• The Impact of 'Special Interests' moderated by Susan Staub of Pennsylvanians for Right to Work will examine the out sized influence of such organizations as labor unions and trial lawyers on the legislative process in Harrisburg.

• Pundits, Pollsters and Policy hosted by Lowman Henry of the Lincoln Institute will look at the roll of media and pollsters on the electoral and policy-making processes.

Additionally, attendees will hear author, columnist & commentator Michelle Malkin as the featured speaker along with Pat Toomey from the Club for Growth, Hazleton Mayor Lou Barletta on illegal immigration, and Dr. Paul Kengor of Grove City College speaking on reviving the Reagan revolution.
