Don't Delay! Register for Our 2007 Pennsylvania Pro-Life Conference Today!

Today is the perfect day to register for Pennsylvania's pro-life event of the year--the 2007 Pennsylvania Pro-Life Conference. Registration is easy--all you have to do is go to www.paprolife.org and click the links under our keynote speaker Gianna Jessen's picture. You won't want to miss Gianna's amazing testimony of being aborted as a child--and living to tell about it. You'll also hear stirring words from Michael Clancy, the photographer who captured the famous picture of Baby Samuel reaching out from his mother's womb. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to hear about incredible adult stem cell research breakthroughs from stem cell transplant expert Dr. James Rossetti. We'll also be offering sessions on such hot topics as preparing Pennsylvania for an overturn of Roe v. Wade, reaching out to Generation Y, breaking through the media madness, and the untold story of the post-abortive woman. Special student breakout sessions will also be held, so teens and college students are encouraged to attend at a special reduced rate! To register, visit www.paprolife.org now or call 717-541-0034. Don't miss out on this incredible pro-life event!

Truth Booth Makes an Impact!

The Truth Booth is having an impact! The display, which features 3D and 4D ultrasounds of unborn babies, appears to be a hit at the Gallery Mall in Philadelphia, where it will be on exhibit until October 31st. Southeast Regional Coordinator Gail Kilby reports she's heard a number of positive comments about the booth, such as "Beautiful," "It's a miracle!" and "I wish that the Truth Booth was around when I was pregnant." The mall is located at 9th and Market Streets in Philadelphia, and the display is on the 2nd level near Kmart. If you live in Philadelphia or are planning to visit the area, be sure to stop by. Chances are, you'll be inspired.

Real Women's Voices Set for October 18th in D.C.

The abortion lobby continues to peddle myths that all women are "pro-choice" despite the fact that polls show that Americans--including women--are more pro-life than ever. Now it's time for women to set the record straight.

This year Real Women's Voices, sponsored by National Right to Life, will combine cutting-edge, political activist training with advanced grassroots lobbying training on Capitol Hill.

We know that pro-life women have the passion to make a difference for the unborn.

Real Women's Voices 2007 will transform that zeal into action with the practical nuts and bolts skills necessary to help pro-life candidates win. Women activists will learn the practical skills to impact the 2008 elections for Life. In addition to offering this outstanding political training opportunity, Real Women's Voices 2007 will continue the tradition of training citizen women lobbyists and offer the opportunity for women to lobby their own legislators for Life on Capitol Hill.

Pro-Life Women are a powerful force in the fight to end abortion-on-demand in this country! They are in a unique position to tell the story that abortion is harmful to both unborn children and their mothers.

Spread the word to the Real Women that you know that they can make an impact for the unborn.

The October 18th event costs just $30 ($15 for students) and will include:

* Breakfast and Congressional Briefing
* Training sessions and exclusive training manuals
* Reception on Capitol Hill with pro-life members of Congress and leaders of the participating organizations

Unity: The Key to Restoring Protection for Innocent Human Life--Protection of Human Life Must Remain the Paramount Issue to Attain Victory

By Mary Beliveau, Legislative/PAC Director (beliveau@paprolife.org)

This is the first of two articles that deal with the need for unity in the pro-life movement to attain our goal of restoring the protection for innocent human life. This article discusses the need for pro-life groups to keep the pro-life coalition together and not to divert into other issues. Those issues could destroy the coalition built around the "right to life," lose members presently in the coalition and divert attention away from the goal--restoring legal protection for innocent human life. The next article will address the need to unify politically to gain the margin of victory necessary to win.

Unity--the key to victory. It is critical that the pro-life movement does not lose sight of its goal--to restore legal protection for unborn children and protect the lives of the disabled and vulnerable elderly. This issue-- the protection of innocent human life from the beginning to end--was the reason National Right to Life (NRLC) and state pro-life groups began organizing over 34 years ago, after the U.S. Supreme Court handed down its sweeping 1973 decision that legalized abortion on demand and struck down state laws in all 50 states that protected unborn children. The decision was so sweeping that attorneys reading the decision at that time expressed concern that the lives of the disabled and elderly would be in jeopardy. more...
