Keystone Report Poll: Corbett Gains on Wolf

NEW KEYSTONE REPORT / MAGELLAN STRATEGIES SURVEY: CORBETT WITHIN SINGLE DIGITS

Is embattled Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett (R) finally turning the corner in his reelection bid against York County businessman Tom Wolf (D)?

According to a new Magellan Strategies BR survey commissioned by this Pennsylvania news website, The Keystone Report, this appears to be the case.

Magellan Strategies’ survey was conducted between July 30-31 among 1,214 likely Pennsylvania voters.

Among voters who have definitely decided on a candidate, Magellan Strategies’ survey finds Corbett within 7 points (Corbett 28.6%, Wolf 35.9%, lean toward a candidate 24%, undecided 12%).

Among likely voters, Magellan Strategies’ survey found Corbett within 12 points of Wolf (Corbett 38.1%, Wolf 50.3%, undecided 11.6%).

Last week a New York Times/CBS News YouGov poll found Corbett losing to Wolf by 9 points.

The Magellan Strategies survey was conducted via automated calls and has a margin of error of 2.83%.
