U.S. Senator Pat Toomey, Congressman Mike Kelly
to address 2014 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference

(Harrisburg, PA) – U. S. Senator Patrick J. Toomey will be the kick-off speaker at the 2014 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference to be held April 4-5, 2014 at the Radisson Penn Harris Convention Center in Camp Hill (Harrisburg), Pennsylvania. Congressman Mike Kelly, who represents the Third Congressional District in Northwestern Pennsylvania will address the conference on Saturday, April 5th.

The premiere gathering of conservatives each year in the Keystone State, the Pennsylvania Leadership Conference this year celebrates its 25th anniversary making it the longest running such state-level conference in the nation. Featured Dinner Speaker will be Jonah Goldberg of National Review/Fox News and Michael Reagan will make a special return appearance at the conference.

This year’s conference will also feature four interactive panel presentations including: Obamacare: No Magic Beans moderated by Jennifer Stefano of Americans for Prosperity/PA; How Free Market Capitalism Raises All Boats with moderator Tom Smith, 2012 GOP U.S. Senate Nominee; Kumbaya: Working Together with moderator Kevin Shivers of the PA Chapter of the National Federation of Independent Business: and Emerging Constituencies moderated by Evan Feinberg of Generation Opportunity.

The conference will also include four workshop sessions along with an exhibition area including representatives from over 40 conservative groups from across the state.

Patrick J. Toomey, U.S. Senator is a leader on economic, financial services and budget issues. He is known as a champion of fiscal responsibility.

The Philadelphia Inquirer wrote that he has emerged as "a leading voice on money matters." He helped write and enact the bipartisan JOBS Act, which cuts regulatory burdens on small and medium-sized businesses making it easier for term to raise capital and create jobs.

The senator serves on the Finance, Banking, Budget and Joint Economic committees. Senator Toomey is the chairman of the Senate Steering Committee – the coalition of Republican senators that advocates for innovative, conservative policies.

Senator Toomey previously was elected to the House of Representatives and fulfilled his three-term pledge. In addition to his public service, the senator also was the president of the Club for Growth, owned and operated a small restaurant chain in the Lehigh Valley, and worked in the financial services industry.

Pat and Kris Toomey live in Zionsville with their three children, Bridget, Patrick, and Duncan.

Mike Kelly, U.S. Representative (PA-3) was born in Pittsburgh and raised in Butler, PA, where he has lived for the past 53 years. After graduating from Butler High School in 1966, Mike attended the University of Notre Dame on a football and academic scholarship. After college, Mike moved back to Butler to work at Kelly Chevrolet-Cadillac, Inc., a company founded by his father in the early 1950s. Mike took ownership of the dealership in the mid-1990s, expanding its operations to include Hyundai and KIA franchises.

Mike was a Butler City councilman, and has sat on the boards of several local and civic organizations, including the Housing Authority of Butler County, the Redevelopment Authority of Butler County, and the Moraine Trails Council of Boys Scouts of America.

Dedicated to improving education, Mike founded the Butler Quarterback Club and The Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation, which provides unique and innovative educational programs for students in the Butler Area School District.
Mike and Victoria have four children: George III, Brendan, Charlotte and Colin; and are the proud grandparents to George IV, Vivian, Elizabeth, Helena, Elaina, Maeve and Victoria.
