Obama Failures Continue

On my radio program this weekend, I talk with several experts about the latest economic and political news. Bob Fragasso (Chairman and CEO of Fragasso Financial Advisors) joins me in the studio, with insights on how people should take responsibility and prepare for their own retirement. The bottom line is that the current economy has placed retirement security at risk for most people, and individuals must become more active in managing the retirement resources available to them if they want to have comfortable, secure retirements.

I also talk with George Romanoff (President of Ace Sporting Goods) about entrepreneurship and the current state of the firearms industry. George talks about the gun purchasing process, explains what individuals can expect if they purchase a weapon from his store, and offers some general advice for aspiring entrepreneurs. If you want to start and build a successful business, you must be self-aware, and able to focus and capitalize on what you do best. Do not worry too much about competitors; just do a GREAT job serving your customers every day. Despite what President Obama says, the government could never and will never build your business for you. In today’s regulatory and tax environment, the Federal Government is only making it HARDER for entrepreneurs to build businesses!

Paul Kengor (Executive Director of the Center for Vision and Values at Grove City College) joins me and offers some insights from his new book, The Communist – Frank Marshall Davis and the Untold Story of Barack Obama’s Mentor. The book documents many of the political ideas held by Davis who was a card-carrying member of the American Communist Party. One of Davis’s goals was to bring about "a Soviet America." Kengor’s book makes a compelling connection between President Obama’s current political agenda and Davis’s agenda for America — which included government controlled healthcare, national gun control, high taxes for the so-called ‘wealthy,’ and government stimulus to name just a few.

I also offer some thoughts on the need for voter ID laws to protect the integrity of our election process, and some insights on recent positive polling data connected to the 2012 Presidential race.

Finally, I revisit President Obama’s "you didn’t build that" comment, respond to the growing list of lies promulgated by the Obama Administration, and comment on the severe damage to our intelligence gathering network caused by the White House’s National Security leaks. Even prominent Democrats like California Senator Diane Feinstein are saying that President Obama must stop the leaks coming from his own White House. And, there is now growing pressure from members of both political parties to launch an independent investigation into who leaked top secret information to the New York Times and other press outlets. The bottom line is that the policies of this administration have destroyed millions of American jobs, failed to create economic prosperity and growth, weakened our ability to gather crucial intelligence, and made most Americans less optimistic about the future of our great country. In the final analysis, giving Obama a pink slip is the only way to plug the intelligence leaks and the leaks in our economy!

The mainstream media loves to quote stilted polls, but the winds of political opinion are blowing in a conservative, pro-entrepreneurship direction. Credible polls like Rasmussen are showing Romney in the lead. Do not lose heart; Mitt Romney — the man who will lead the restoration of the American economy for ALL Americans — is going to win in November. Just remember what he did in founding and building Bain Capital and then running the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. Romney has exactly the kind of economic and executive leadership "game" that has been so painfully lacking under President Obama and the "Soviet-American" Democrats who fill his Administration.
