Alumni Testimonials
This month we take time to feature a very special Alumni who will be joining the "PFEW Team" this year as a program intern.

PFEW 2010 Graduate and PFEW 2011 Intern,
Kelly Blasi

"Without a doubt, PFEW was one of the best spent weeks of my summer. It is difficult for me to put into words what a rewarding and life-changing experience it really was. I learned so much from guest speakers, company advisers, PFEW staff, and my peers. PFEW challenged me to step out of my comfort zone and try new things which in turn exposed me to once-in-a-life-time opportunities. I had the chance to take part in the business simulation that gave me hands-on experience for what I may encounter in the future. I also had the opportunity to become acquainted with some amazing kids from across Pennsylvania some of which I still speak to on a weekly basis. PFEW gave me the opportunity to make awesome friends and to learn first-hand how the business world works. It was a ton of fun and very rewarding experience that I would repeat again and again."
~ Kelly Blasi, Sullivan Co. JSHS
Are you a PFEW Graduate? We would love to hear your story!

Applications Top Previous Years!

With the PFEW application deadline being extended until June 17th, we are still receiving applications at the office each day. To date, we have received over 2,200 applications which exceeded 2010's total application count of 1,856 and 2009's total application count of 2,096.

If you know someone who might be interested in attending PFEW this summer, they can apply directly online or you can download an application to pass along.

PFEW Needs Your Help!

With student applications still rolling in daily, we are continuing to reach out to the business community for their scholarship support.

PFEW relies almost exclusively on the business community for its financial support. Any and all gifts for students in your area would be greatly appreciated. Click on the link below if you would like to make a fully tax-deductible gift today. We are also qualified for gifts through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program.

If you are unable to make a financial gift, we could use the gift of your time. PFEW is still in need of Company Advisors for this summer's sessions! You need not have a particular background or area of expertise to be an effective Company Advisor and we will teach you everything you need to know prior to participation. To sign up to be a Company Advisor, click the link below. We are looking for Company Advisors for the following PFEW 2011 sessions...
Week I ~ July 9-16
Week II ~ July 16-23
Week III ~ July 30- August 6
