Our mission is to build a network of funding sources and a community of activists who will advance an agenda that embraces a philosophy of Constitutional Limited Government, the Rule of Law, Economic Freedom, and the traditional values that sustain individual initiative, personal autonomy and responsibility.

Our network community is dedicated to replacing current elected liberal central planners who believe in command and control socialism by a few elite technocrats, the few ruling the many, with leaders who support the freedom of the individual, free markets engaged in free trade, and free market solutions to healthcare, retirement, energy and education.

Dear Lowman,

The government's intervention in the economic life of a community is fraught with pitfalls. "Pay to Play" as is "Pinstripe Patronage" are expected and inevitable because government needs to buy services from nongovernment vendors. It is up to us to be alert to excesses.

No-bid Allegheny County Work Goes to Firm With County Employee President

Has anyone looked at where no bid contracts go in Montgomery County. No-bid Allegheny County work goes to firm with county employee president

"The head of the Allegheny County Health Department authorized more than $1.1 million worth of no-bid contracts to a Moon computer consulting company that lists a full-time county employee as its president.

Dr. Bruce Dixon said no conflict of interest exists in the arrangement and he's not required to solicit bids from competing information technology firms because the company - Aruna Info Inc. - provides unique professional services.
County Manager Jim Flynn said Tuesday he has concerns about county computer engineer Vijaya Karlapudi's role in the company, which is run by her husband, Nageswararao "Rao" Guduru."

Common Sense Says That Lobbyist Expenses Wasteful

A Failure of Common Sense The Taxpayer pays the government $4,000,000 for government to lobby government for taxpayer money. When common sense dies, the community dies. The idiocy of the political class is imposed by force on all of us.

Delaware River Port Authority Loses More Than 3/4 of Annual Income on a Bad Idea

The government monopoly Delaware River Port Authority cancelled swaps this year costing a total of $159 million of its $200 million. The Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA), operator of four toll bridges and a commuter rail line between Philadelphia and southern New Jersey, agreed to pay $111 million to cancel an interest-rate swap that backfired.

Bridge users have no choice but to pay for the mistakes of government monopolies appointed and elected representatives. The Government is simply too big to manage and monitor and operating the bridges is not a enumerated power of government and there seem economic reason that private, profit driven ownership with the real discipline of profit and pricing would do a lot better for us, the individual citizen.

Is political self-interest more noble and beneficial than individual self-interest?
