PA Leadership Conference Offers Student Rates, Scholarships
Upcoming event to feature Dick Morris, Kellyanne Conway, John Gizzi, Phyllis Schlafly

Harrisburg, PA – Special student rates have been established for the 2010 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference to be held at the Four Points by Sheraton near Harrisburg on April 16th and 17th. Additionally, a limited number of scholarships are available for interested high school and university level students.

"The Pennsylvania Leadership Conference is an ideal forum for students to learn more about the critical issues facing our state and federal governments," explained conference organizer Lowman Henry, "students will also hear prominent featured speakers, candidates for statewide office and have the opportunity to network with activists from across the commonwealth."

To foster student participation the Pennsylvania Leadership Conference has established a reduced student rate of $40.00 which admits the student to all conference activities except for the pre-dinner reception.

"But, if a student wants to attend and cannot afford the registration fee, we can help," Henry continued. "Several donors have contributed money to a PLC student scholarship fund so that students who might otherwise not be able to afford to attend can in fact participate in the conference." This year’s Pennsylvania Leadership Conference will feature a number of prominent speakers including Fox News analyst and best-selling author Dick Morris, Kellyanne Conway of The Polling Company, Human Events political editor John Gizzi, Phyllis Schlafly of Eagle Forum, Pennsylvania House Republican whip Mike Turzai, U.S. Senate candidate Pat Toomey along with Republican gubernatorial candidates Tom Corbett and Sam Rohrer.

The 2010 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference will include five panel presentations: Building a Coalition that Wins; Beyond Corruption: Transparency, Accountability and Reform; Marriage & More; State Spending: Going for Broke; and Polishing the Apple: Improving Public Education.

Additionally, the conference will include a three hour campaign training workshop and over 40 exhibits.
