Our mission is to build a network of funding sources and a community of activists who will advance an agenda that embraces a philosophy of Constitutional Limited Government, the Rule of Law, Economic Freedom, and the traditional values that sustain individual initiative, personal autonomy and responsibility.

Our network community is dedicated to replacing current elected liberal central planners who believe in command and control socialism by a few elite technocrats, the few ruling the many, with leaders who support the freedom of the individual, free markets engaged in free trade, and free market solutions to healthcare, retirement, energy and education.

Dear Lowman,

Following up on last week's e-newsletter, more on Representative Mark Kirk ( R-Illinois), who is candidate for US Senate there and on the Iranian Threat and possible sanctions. I am not optimistic that Iran will be prevented from getting nuclear weapon without some kind of military intervention and the consequences of such military action will be severe to Iran and to the world. This is an issue that has potential to wipe all domestic issues off the media.

Mark Kirk's Statement on Iran House and Senate Bills

Please thank Representative Mark Kirk for his leadership on this issue. I am very scared. This is all going in the wrong direction and the Administration and the Leftist Democrats are blocking this important initiative.

Subject: Kirk Statement on Iran
Congressman Kirk issued the following statement in response to Iran's concealment of an underground uranium enrichment facility:

"The U.S., France and Britain announced today that Iran lied again, this time concealing the construction of an underground uranium enrichment facility outside Qum.

"It is time for the House to move the Iran Refined Petroleum Sanctions Act (H.R. 2194) to the floor next week. I introduced this sanctions plan four years ago because Iran depends on imported gasoline for up to 40% of its needs. A gasoline quarantine is the sanction that will actually work.

"This legislation has 312 cosponsors in the House and 75 cosponsors in the Senate (S. 908). With House passage of the legislation next week, the stage will be set for a more effective "dialogue with teeth" between our allies and the Iranians."

Regime Is Iran's Disease: Nukes Are Just a Symptom

Many of these same ideas are presented by Michael Ledeen. Dr. Ledeen is a leading expert on Iran.

Jonah Goldberg makes the solid point that it nukes in the control of the radical, extremist, fanatical Mullahs that is the fear. Changes to regime to America Friendly and the problem becomes a nonproblem. It is the expansionist, violent and implacably fanatical totalitarian regime that is the enemy.

Do you lay awake at night worrying about Britain's nuclear weapons? France's? Israel's? Of course not, because stable democracies in general, and stable democratic allies in particular, aren't a threat.
