Gizzi, Wenger to Speak at PLC Breakfast

(Harrisburg, PA) – Perennial PLC favorite John Gizzi of Newsmax will present a national overview and Randy Wenger of the Pennsylvania Family Institute will deliver an update on social issues as featured speakers at the Saturday morning breakfast at the 2017 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference to be held March 31st and April 1st at the Radisson Penn Harris Convention Center in camp Hill (Harrisburg), PA.

The Pennsylvania Leadership Conference is the premiere gathering of public policy conservatives each year in the Keystone State. It is the largest and longest-running of the state-based conservative conferences regularly attracting a long list of conservative elected officials, scholars, journalists and activists for two days of speeches, panel presentations, workshops and networking.

Columnist and social media commentator Ben Shapiro will be the featured speaker at the conference dinner on Friday, March 31st. He will be joined in addressing the conference by Peter Schweizer, author and President of the Government Accountability Institute, CNN Commentator Jeff Lord, State Senator Scott Wagner, Pennsylvania House Speaker Mike Turzai, Tea Party Patriots leader Jenny Beth Martin; Andy Schlafly of the Phyllis Schlafly Eagles; along with Congressmen Lou Barletta, Scott Perry and Keith Rothfus.

The 2017 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference will feature four interactive panel presentations including: Draining the Susquehanna Swamp moderated by Brittney Parker of the State Policy Network, Policies That Work moderated by Charles Mitchell of the Commonwealth Foundation; And Justice for All moderated by Kevin Shivers from the National Federation of Independent Business-PA; And, Communicating the Conservative Message moderated by political commentator Lenny McAllister.

John Gizzi is Newsmax’s chief political columnist and White House correspondent. Randall Wenger is Chief Operating Officer of the Pennsylvania Family Institute, which advocates for life and religious liberty in the legislature on behalf of tens of thousands of supporters statewide. He is also Chief Counsel of the Independence Law Center, a pro-bono law center dedicated to maintaining those liberties that have made America great and free. His cases included representation of Conestoga Wood and its owners, the Hahn family, in a companion case to Hobby Lobby, a recent religious liberty win before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Randall has an economics degree from the University of Chicago and earned his J.D. at the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in Lancaster County, and he and his wife Tina have seven children.
